Performance and Efficiency

The 1,390cc four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces a healthy 120 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 201 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. That means responsive, flexible performance in everyday driving, with a 0 to 62 mph time of just 8.9 seconds. Top speed is 126 mph.

Just as importantly, it is impressively economical. Combined fuel economy stands at 53.3 mpg, with 64.2 mpg extra urban and 41.5 mpg urban cold. CO2 emissions are 124 g/km, keeping running costs sensible for a car of this calibre. This is a Euro 5 compliant vehicle with stop/start technology.

Service History and Condition

This A1 is a well-maintained example and comes with a full service history. The most recent service was completed on 11 March 2026 at 83,943 miles. The MOT will be renewed with a 12-month MOT before purchase, and the vehicle has a clear history check, so you can buy with confidence.

With 4 previous owners and a current reading of 86,080 miles, this is a genuinely low-mileage example for a 2011 car — well below what you would typically expect for its age.

Interior and Equipment

Inside, the cabin reflects the S line treatment, with an interior colour and trim designed to feel sporty and premium. Electronic climate control keeps the temperature exactly as you like it, while Bluetooth phone preparation makes staying connected simple and safe on the move.

Audio quality is a real highlight. The car features both the BOSE surround sound system and the Audi sound system, delivering rich, immersive sound that lifts every journey. Privacy glass adds a practical, stylish touch to the exterior and helps keep the cabin cooler in summer.

Dimensions and Practicality

The A1 measures 3,954 mm in length, 1,906 mm in width and 1,416 mm in height, making it easy to park and manoeuvre in town while remaining stable and composed on longer runs. It seats four and is a front-wheel-drive 4x2, with a kerb weight from 1,100 kg and a gross weight of 1,550 kg. Insurance group 16 keeps premiums reasonable.
